I deleted my movies by mistake

I'm still using an older version of iPhoto which does not support importing .avi movie files.

So I transfered my photos from my camera, passed the camera over to Chuck who transferred the photos to his Mac. iPhoto then asked Chuck if he wanted to delete the photos, Chuck asked me, I said yes, and then with the click of a button, everything was deleted off the CompactFlash card.

D'oh!

So all the photos AND funny movies of me and Chuck were erased.

But were they really erased? No.

They are still on the card, but only the directory entry to them is gone.

Any suggestions of programs to use on a Mac to recover these movies? I'll use a PC if I have to.
