Just got this notice in the mail, Political bloggers - MediaGiraffe:

"MASSACHUSETTS & NEW ENGLAND PROGRESSIVE POLITICAL BLOGGERS GATHERING ==== on Friday June 30, UMass Amherst

Come join a 'meet-up' of Massachusetts and New England political bloggers at noon on Friday, June 30, 2006, at the Media Giraffe Project summit at the University of Massachusetts Amherst Campus Center. For info, contact: Michael DeChiara of www.wonkNOT.net.

The gathering will start at 12:00 noon run until group wants to end. The session will run concurrently with other panels, sessions and meetings at the Media Giraffe conference, 'Democracy & Independence: Sharing News & Politics in a Connected World.' The group will figure out what topics are most pertinent for discussion. Might include:

* Plans for coverage of the Massachusetts gubernatorial primary and election? How can bloggers have impact?
* Now that the blogosphere has grown to include 'professionals', what does this mean for 'citizen' blogging?"
