$40 Parking Ticket on Street Cleaning Day!
Warning!
The 1st and 3rd Wednesday is street cleaning day behind Eastern Standard in Kenmore Square. No wonder why I found a spot so easily.
Update:
And the 2nd and 4th Wednesday too. Depends on what side of hte street you are on. Be careful reading the signs.

we (my fiancee's car) got towed last week for accidentally parking in a street cleaning spot. $135 towing costs plus a $25 ticket. consider yourself lucky.

But about 5 car lengths up the street there was a sign that said 2nd and 4th street cleaning on the side I parked on.
What am I expected to do? Walk all the way up and down the street reading signs?

You got it!
Appeal the ticket. Say that the sign was too far away for a reasonable person to see. Also add that the nearest sign (on the other side of the street) said 1st and 3rd Wednesdays. I'm 100% appealing Boston parking tickets.
