Considering that Meninos own studies have shown a locally owned business keeps 50% of the money spent in their stores in the community versus 5% for chains like Whole Foods, they are still 40% off. But the 1%ers who shop at whole foods are happy, so who cares, right?
Huh. I was there in front of the store until 2:15 waiting... I finally decided I had better things to do than wait around for a politician. But I guess I missed out on the goodie bags :(
Yo're right. It was scheduled for 2:00 and I was there on time, but nothing was happening. So I went inside and did some shopping. By the time I got out, went to my car, put groceries in the trunk, and walked back, the ceremony started.
