Item 4 seems to be the most important point and seems reasonable:
4. Brand Features. Publisher grants to Google a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use its trademarks, trade names, designs and logos ("Brand Features"), in accordance with Publisher's usage guidelines, if and as provided by Publisher, solely for use in connection with the Authorized Content, in the Currents Service and presentations, marketing materials, customer lists, financial reports and Web site listings of customers related to the Currents Service. All uses of Publisher's Brand Features, and all goodwill associated therewith, shall inure solely to the benefit of Publisher. Subject to the express license granted herein, right, title and interest in and to Publisher's Brand Features are and shall remain with Publisher.ENTER:

STEP 3:

Create a New Edition
Give your edition a name
Add an RSS feed
Enter your YouTube channel name
Click CREATE
Next your content is gathered and some articles are added.
Click DONE.

There are more things to configure and test before going live with my Steve Garfield Google Currents Channel.
This producer app is very powerful. It brings mobile app creation tools, which used to required experienced programmers, to everyone. Everyone who's interested in putting a little time into it.
I'm going to have fun customizing my channel and making it live. Stay tuned.
Update:
There's a lot to customize including content. and look and feel. In Edition Settings it might be a good idea to add an Edition Icon, otherwise you'll have a blank icon.
To make your content visible to everyone, click DISTRIBUTE.

This is a terrific, straightforward explanation of how to use Google Currents. But the sign up process is problematic: when I enter my name and feed ,or just my name, I get the error message below with my name, Any ideas? Thanks...

If you publish a small Current you don't show up in Google's directory, so we created a separate directory for small publishers to promote their Currents/Editions - check out www.currentsdirectory.com
