Craft Check for iOS. Is that a craft beer?

My friends Barrett Garese and Rudy Jahchan just officially announced Craft Check, an iOS app to check if the beer you are looking at is officially a Craft Beer as defined by the Craft Brewer’s Association official definition.

They say:

"Good craft beer is hard to find. You might not know it, but most of the “craft” and “micro” breweries you see at your local grocery store are actually made by the same assembly-line, multinational macrobreweries you see advertised nationwide. So to help you distinguish the real craft breweries from the macrobrewed impostors, we made Craft Check - http://www.craftcheckapp.com"

I like craft beer. I like Barrett and Rudy, so I figured for 99 cents, I'd try it.

Opening Screen:

Scan a beer bar code:

I had a Dogfish Head Pils in the fridge... ;-)

Yup. Confirmed.

Would be nice if the CONGRATULATIONS screen incorporated the beer name.

Let's try this one:

Oops.

Note: That was not my beer. It's a beer left in the fridge by a friend. ;-)

Cool idea.

Nice implementation.
