United States Senator Robert Bennett (R-UT) has introduced the Lupus REACH Amendments of 2005 (S.756). REACH is an acronym for Research, Education, Awareness, Communication, and Healthcare. This bill is an urgently needed piece of federal legislation that authorizes increased efforts by the U.S. government to address lupus as a significant national health issue.
