+538.54% increase in views with TubeMogul

I just took a look at my TubeMogul.com statistics to see how many incremental views I got by using the service.

Over the past month I have seen a +538.54% increase in views with TubeMogul:

These views are in addition to the views I normally get with blip.tv.

YouTube has seen the most views. That's probably becuase I have been including the YouTube video links in my blog posts, posting them to twitter, and posting my YouTube videos as video responses over on YouTube.

When you use TubeMogul to post your videos to all these other sites, that's just the first step. Next, you've got to join and participate in the community.

There are a lot of ways to do that, one of which includes watching other videos and commenting.

The best thing that could happen would be if you were featured on one of these sites.

Hasn't happened yet.

Here's my most recent video, "iPhone: Sound from receiver is muffled", shot with a Canon GL/2 and recorded and edited with iMovie on al the upload sites.

YouTube, Yahoo!, MySpace, Revver, DailyMotion, Blip.TV, Brightcove.

Check the video out on each site to see the difference in video quality. Also watch how long it takes for each site to load.

Note: I don't have a link to MetaCafe because of their annoying pop up ads.

You'll notice that the only site that allows you to access the original QuickTime version of the video is Blip.TV.

Allowing access to the original QuickTime upload is great for allowing people to subscribe via RSS 2.0 with media enclosures.
