I had the Best. Breakfast. Ever. with Tina Clark from Kodak at Hilton LA - Checkers. I went on Yelp! to see what was a good restaurant mear my hotel, The Biltmore. Checkers came up with reviews that said it was the best breakfast they had ever eaten. So we tried it. It was.

After breakfast, I decided to check out the LA Library. I heard the it was really something to see.
I went in and found that they had free WiFi. After looking around a bit, I wandered into a lecture about Shahan Natalie. Very interesting.
Next I visited every floor. There were art installations all around. There was a great display of old Lobby Cards from movies.
As I was looking at the exhibit I spoke with some other visitors. We agreed that it would be fun to watch some of these old movies.

I wasn't familiar with the art of William Joyce but found his drawings cute.

They reminded me of my friend Amy Carpenter's work.
Next I got on a computer and looked up my book, Get Seen. They carry three copies in the library. All were checked out! Cool.
I found a lot of great spots to stop and work. I was putting the finishing touches on a webinar I'm doing next Thursday for Authors Globe, Online Video Secrets to Boost your Profits to New Heights. It's a great overview of web video.

My night ended up at the Blip.tv Tubefilter Streamy Awards Pre-Party.
I had a great time meeting new people and seeing others that I only see once or twice a year.
Here's me and Tay Zonday!
I'm looking forward to the Streamy Awards this afternoon.
I'll be doing some reporting for Kodak.
Watch SteveGarfield.com for behind the scenes, red carpet and press room coverage. I'll be shooting photos and video, streaming live and tweeting.
