Parker has been coy about the platform’s specifics but says it will offer communication and sharing in real time—something he thinks is underserved on the Web. Airtime will likely be a site where friends can post videos and react to them—and each other—live. “My pitch is eliminating loneliness,” Parker says. There’s also a random video chat function similar to last year’s voyeuristic flameout, the now defunct Chatroulette. It hits the same thread that has run through all of Parker’s projects: sharing and discovery.I'll be interested in testing out Airtime.
