Sandy: Keep Calm and Carry On #ThinkCalmThoughts

Keep Calm and Carry On:
Keep Calm and Carry On was a propaganda poster produced by the Government of the United Kingdom in 1939 during the beginning of the Second World War, intended to raise the morale of the British public in the event of a Nazi invasion of Britain. It had only limited distribution, and thus was little known. The poster was rediscovered in 2000 and has been re-issued by a number of private companies, and used as the decorative theme for a range of products.
Spirituality in Times of Crisis:
Everyone has their own way of responding to crisis. Some choose an elaborate, drama-filled news report. Others choose to remain calm and heed warnings. Information in our world moves quickly within social media and breaking news. How can we use technology to gather our collective spiritual efforts to change the response and course of events? How do you handle being in the midst of a crisis or natural disaster?

Hawaii-based social media consultant Roxanne Darling started the hashtag #ThinkCalmThoughts as a way to aggregate positive thinking and good energy toward a potentially negative situation.
Time for us to adopt Roxanne's hashtag and thoughts in the Northeast. ;-)
