Rabbi Rat on the Shelf: A Hanukkah Tradition Since 5 Minutes Ago.

Rabbi Rat on the Shelf: A Hanukkah Tradition Since 5 Minutes Ago.

I recently wrote about Elf On The Shelf being the Stupidest Thing Ever Invented.

People were amused so I though I'd carry the parody a little further, How Hanukkah Joe knows who is naughty and who is nice:
Have you ever wondered how Hanukkah Joe knows who is naughty and who is nice? The Rabbi Rat on the Shelf: A Hanukkah Tradition is the very special tool that helps Hanukkah Joe know who to put on the Naughty and Nice list. This interactive holiday hide-and-seek tradition is perfect for children and families of all ages.

The tradition begins when Hanukkah Joe sends his scout Rabbi Rats out to Rabbi Rat Adoption Centers. Waiting for their families to bring them home, these patient Rabbi Rats hibernate until their family reads The Rabbi Rat on the Shelf, gives their Rabbi Rat a very special name, and registers their adoption online. Once named, each scout Rabbi Rat will receive its Hanukkah magic and become a part of the family’s Hanukkah each and every year.

Excellent listeners and even better observers, these scout Rabbi Rats are the eyes and ears of Hanukkah Joe. Although they cannot be touched, or else they may lose their magic, the Rabbi Rat will always listen and relay messages back to Santa. Taking in all the day-to-day activities around the house, no good deed goes unnoticed; these scout Rabbi Rats take their job seriously.

Each night, after the family goes to bed, the scout Rabbi Rat uses his magical Hanukkah powers to fly back to Delray Beach Florida on JetBlue Airlines. Once there, the Rabbi Rat will make his or her daily report to Hanukkah Joe and visit with Rabbi Rat friends where they will tell stories about their beloved families, play with the Kosher Dolphins, and of course, sneak some of Mrs. Hanukkah Joe’s potato latkes!

Before the family awakes each morning, their special scout Rabbi Rats will fly back to their home from Delray Beach Florida. However, since these Rabbi Rats like to play games, don’t expect to find them in the same spot! While some like to hide in the Sun Room (probably because it reminds them of Delray Beach Florida) and others prefer to sit on the Torah or hang from the Menorah, these Rabbi Rats love to play hide-and-seek with their families.

On the last night of Hanukkah, the scout Rabbi Rat will listen for Hanukkah Joe’s Shofar and then fly back to Delray Beach, Florida until the next season, wishing every girl and each boy a Hanukkah of peace and a year full of joy. Join the tradition and adopt your own Rabbi Rat on the Shelf now!
