Samsung Galaxy Camera EK-GC100 Save Video to PC
I shot my first video on the Samsung Galaxy Camera.
I wanted to edit it, but the on camera editor only let me assemble clips together.
I couldn't figure out how to trim them, so I decided to copy the video over to my Mac to edit.
There are a number of ways to get file transfer to work between the camera and the computer.
Bluetooth didn't work for me, saying the there were required programs not available on the camera.
Dropbox is also and option, but I didn't have that set up.
So I used the Samsung Kies program to move the video over. Very simple.
Here's the video:
Video: HD 1280 x 720 (30 FPS)
Other video modes are Full HD 1920 x 1080 (30 FPS), Slow Motion 768 x 512 (120 FPS), and Sharing 320 x 240 (30 FPS)
Very nice 23mm Wide Angle Lens. With many other cameras you need to buy an add on wide angle lens.
I like that this one is integrated.
Video is unedited. Obviously. Just wanted to post it directly to YouTube without any intermediary export via editing software.
Thanks @SamsungMobileUS for the review unit.

Update:
This is also the way to transfer photos from the Samsung Galaxy to your Mac. The SAmsung Galaxy Camera does not show up as a device in iPhone, so you have to do a two step process to get your photos into iPhoto.
Transfer to your Mac, then drag into iPhoto.
Note:
When using Kies, the activity monitor is at the bottom right of the screen. There also is NO drag and drop of files. You have to use the Kies menu to move the files to y our Mac.
