QUESTION: Do they know you were there?

Leave Comments. Leaving comments on blogs that you are interested in is a great way of helping others find your blog. It's also a great way of giving feedback to bloggers about their writing. Everyone loves comments.

Example of embdedding a photo from flickr in a blog:

Click Share This on Flickr and copy and paste the the HTML code into your new blog post.

Then duplicate the code and replace the IMG tag with the TITLE information:

Additionaly, you should note the Creative License.

In this example it's CC BY-NC-SA.

This is how you add a photo to an existing post that you are working on. If you are starting a post with a photo, there's a Blog This button on flickr that will automatically post the photo to flickr if you've previously told flickr about your blog. It's a good thing to do.

Custom Domain
On blogger you can go to Settings/Publishing and buy a custom domain for your blog from Google for $10.

For more flexibility, you can use Dreamhost to buy a domain for the same amount and have the ability to add lots of hosting options at a later time. On Dreamhost we used the redirect to redirect traffic from http://nestories.com to http://newenglandstories.blogspot.com.
