Problems with my MacBook Pro - Part III

After connecting the LaCie drive and GL/2 via FW 800, I can review and select footage for capture, but when I start a batch capture, FCP hangs and I have to Force Quit.



Connection:
MBP -> FW 800 -> FW 800 -> GL/2

Batch Capture
Force Quit
Finder Hang

[COMMAND] + [CONTROL] + [POWER KEY] restart

Batch Capture
Force Quit

MyBook Won't Mount, FW800 or FW 400

Reboot
LaCie won't mount
Unplug daisy chained drives on LaCie
LaCie mounts
