It needs to be 17 7/8" x 22 1/2" x 2".
I have one 8' 2x4.
I'm going to cut four pieces out the 2x4 to make the sides of the platform.
How long does each piece need to be?
Extra credit:
Do I need to add additional lumber to make the platform 2" high?
