Getty Launches Open Content Program to Share Digital Art for Free

Getty launches Open Content Program to share, freely and without restriction, as many of the Getty’s digital resources as possible.

This is cool. I tweeted it:

This is a great program.

I searched the archive and chose 'Open Content Images' the 'Natural World' filter and 'van Gogh' to see how it works.

Creative Computing, Beginning With 10 PRINT

An evening to celebrate the publication by MIT Press of 10 PRINT CHR$(205.5+RND(1)); : GOTO 10. This book takes a single line of code-the extremely concise BASIC program for the Commodore 64 inscribed in the title-and uses it as a lens through which to consider the phenomenon of creative computing and the way computer programs exist in culture. Nick Montfort will start off the evening leading a discussion among co-authors and the audience about this celebrated piece of software. And there will be a short hackathon.

It was in the Commodore 64 User Manaul, but we don't know who wrote it.

My Toronto Dioramas at The Hallway Gallery December 6 - 24

My Toronto Dioramas will be shown at the hallway gallery Holiday Art Salon, December 6 - 24.

It's my first gallery show. I'm excited.

Opening Reception December 6th 6-9pm.
