In separate announcements, the NBC and CBS networks confirmed that they have cancelled Operation Iraqi Freedom as of yesterday afternoon. "This has no bearing on the quality of the war," said an NBC spokesperson. "In fact, as we have said before, we believe it's one of the best wars to appear on TV. Our viewers are simply looking for non-war programming right now, and we need to focus on what our viewers want."
