Dear Twitter: Don't Break YouTube Video Shortened Links

Dear @twitter,

Why do you display shortened links, shared from YouTube, like this one http://t.co/zaa2Ng6 as youtube.com/watch?v=ideJ-A…?

When you click the share button on YouTube, the pre-filled in tweet looks like this:



But when it gets to Twitter, you've changed it to look like this:



Note: I changed the lame auto generated "Check this out ---" to [Video]

If someone copies and pastes that link, it will break.

Here, I'll show you:



See?

Please don't do this.

Preparing for SteveGarfield.tv with Producer Dave Sobol at #thepulse

I had a great time yesterday at The Pulse Network, preparing for my first SteveGarfield.tv live show.

My producer, Dave Sobol, and I worked on the show open, the rundown, and the inner workings of the studio.



I've wanted to be able to work on a show where all I have to do is walk in, sit down, and do the show, but the fact is, there's hours of show prep that go into making a broadcast.

Especially for my first show where I'm still setting everything up.

The Wallee: iPad Wall Mount

When I saw The Wallee I knew it would be a great wall mount solution for the iPad.



I ordered (1) Wallee and (2) Mounting Disks.

Here's how the initial installation went:



After attaching the Mounting Disk to the wall and then attaching the Wallee, something was wrong. I'd installed the Mounting Disk so that the locking plate looked like an X. That was wrong. It's supposed to look like a + sign.

Same iPad. Very easy to move around.
