Sandals & Socks 4 Ever!
It's the humble aim of this humble site,  to become the web central for sandal and soxers the world over, allowing them to step out and boldly proclaim their right to wear just what they damned well please.
I'm gonna join!

My sandals hurt my feet when I wear them. So I haven't been wearing them. Now I've got a support system behind me.

So today I got a pair of white sox, put them on, and then put on my pair of sandals!

I proceeded to leave the house, and my wife said, "If you are really going to leave the house like that, please use the back door and make sure none of the neighbors see you."

He also came out in favor of repealing the 7th commandment, "Thou shall not commit adultery."

My Official Real World Bio:
On the track of the all-American golden boy, Steve is blessed with handsome good looks and the charm of an old movie star. Hailing from Boston, MA, Steve seems to attract the attention of every girl when he walks in to a room. Aside from his great body, his natural charisma seems to have girls flocking to him no matter where he goes. Steve makes friends easily and usually acts as the peacemaker in his circle of friends and family. He's far from just another handsome face--Steve is a man of integrity, intelligence and complexity.

The 99.9% Girl
Went to Dogwood Cafe in Jamaica Plain tonight.

We had the best time.

Our waitress Elizabeth was sooo cool.

She had on a New Kids On the Block Button with a picture of Joey McIntyre on it. Turns out that she went to school with Joey. He's from Jamaica Plain.

Back when she was in High School, Elizabeth was interviewed by Billy Costa for Evening Magazine about Joey.

She said, "I think about Joey 99.9% of the day." After she said that, she told Billy not to air that quote on the TV show. He aired it anyway!

After that she was known as the 99.9% girl.

Elizabeth told me that she had the Joey McIntyre button on her apron to add some flair.

I told her that I knew what she was talking about: Office Space.

She laughed. She told us that she owns the DVD.

I suggested Boondock Saints to her and she already owns that too!

I told Elizabeth that I had Office Space on tape for my wife to watch and she wanted to come home with us to watch it.

Too bad she had to work late.

I finally found some information on my favorite kiddie song of all times.

Funny how other people remember it fondly.

It's from Mitch Miller Golden Hits for Children, Golden Records LP 72 .

Now all I need to find is a copy of the record.

Further research leads me to believe it was a single too:

UPDATE:

Come On, Comcast!
Comcast has made a strong point of saying that if you don't install its Transition Wizard, you will not get email forwarding from your attbi.com account to your comcast.net account. Why should we trust Comcast? I can tell you that a lot of people already don't. We haven't been given a reason to. Comcast's customer service approach, which in this case amounts to scare tactics, not only doesn't kick things off on a positive note, but it engenders mistrust. "Do this or else" is what I take away from the emails I've received. Only a company enjoying a monopoly position could be so cavalier with consumers.

$20 Bill Is Getting A Redesign.
Why are we still using money at all?

I try to stay away from it as much as possible.

I have a transponder on my car to pay tolls, I use an ATM card for all purchases, and have most of my bills paid automatically through EFT.

LESS MONEY LESS MONEY LESS MONEY.

And another thing, our coins are poorly designed. If anything needed a redesign, it's our coinage.

You know it doesn't even have the amount that the coin is worth, numericaly printed on the coin?

I'm afraid Europe is leading the way on this issue.

One more thing, it's the interactive $20.
