According to the user guide at http://www.kodak.com/global/en/service/publications/urg00919toc.jhtml?chapsec=urg00919views&pq-path=13245 , you should be able to shut off the device sounds, but perhaps that capability didn't make it into the first version of the firmware.
The sound effects are troublesome when you're trying to shoot video at a quiet event...

ReplyDeleteHave you had any luck accessing the sound settings on the Zi6 setup menu? All I seem to be able to do is adjust the date & time.
I don't see any way to adjust the sound settings...
