A while ago, Spotify came out with a web player. When that happened, all Spotify links opened in the web player instead of the Spotify app.
That was annoying.
Now I've got a fix, via twitter.
@SpotifyCares Spotify links now open Spotify web player instead of my Mac App. How do I disable web player?

STEP BY STEP for CHROME
1. Visit http://open.spotify.com/app/anydecentmusic
2. Click on the "Launch Application" button.

That sets Spotify links to ignore the web player and go to the app.
