The ATM at the Bank of America in Palm Desert had a full screen display. It also supports the customer defined fast cash amount which allows the customer to key in their pin # and press the fast cash button which dispenses the fast cash amount and returns your ATM card and prints a receipt. I can't wait until these new machines come to Boston.

I Can't Look into my iPhoto Library

Did Apple change something in the new iPhoto '08 v 7.1 ?

I can't navigate to my images or movies from the finder...

What am I missing?

Lots of beer on tap at the Yard House near Palm Desert.



First visit for me and they have other locations too.

It was a fun time at the Yard House. Gordon Biersch Marzen on tap and a nice burger.



Prior to the Yard House we did a wine tasting at the Tulip Hill tasting center at The River. Although they are know for their reds, we likes the Chardonay best. Fun staff.

They can't ship to Massachusetts. Their application is in process. I was told it's going to take 6 MONTHS to get approved to ship to Mass! That's the open shipment law for you. It's crazy. Massachusetts makes is SO HARD for companies to ship wine into the state.

Oh yeah. BTW, we also bought beer in the supermarket here in California. There weren't any drunken teenagers around on the sidewalks either.

Schilling Blog NOT a PR debacle

Companies Try to Score With Athletes Who Blog - WSJ.com:

"Mr. Arenas is one of several star athletes writing blogs -- or in his case, phoning an National Basketball Association staffer who faithfully transcribes his thoughts for the NBA Web site every 10 days or so. Other sports bloggers include Red Sox pitcher Curt Schilling and injured NBA rookie Greg Oden.

Several have seen their online comments turn into public-relations debacles. For example, earlier this year Mr. Schilling fueled an outcry when he used his blog to dress down Orioles broadcaster Gary Thorne for suggesting that Mr. Schilling's bloody sock in the 2004 playoffs -- which became a symbol of his determination despite a foot injury -- was a fake. (Mr. Thorne backed off the charge.)"

It seems to me that this section of the article implies that Schilling's blog post created PR problems.

I don't get it.

PR problems for the announcer who got the story wrong maybe, but not for Schilling who is talking directly to the fans on his blog.
