"Few understand the obtuse language used to describe wine, and fewer still know what the word 'obtuse' means. For example: 'The wine's deft touch of smoky oak and hints of ripe pear combine to offer a sleek finish that's crisp and focused.' Huh? Is wine made from wooden crates used to transport pears at high speed?"

That's a somewhat dry yet fruity explanation that dosn't atrtack my palate.
