99 cent TV shows

NBC, CBS to offer shows on demand for 99 cents:
A pair of separate deals announced Monday between CBS and Comcast, as well as NBC Universal and DirecTV, soon will allow viewers to pay to watch current primetime broadcast hits just hours after they air for free.
I am very happy to see CBS and NBC taking the step to offer shows for 99 cents.

I'd love to see old episodes of Get Smart. I'd pay 99 cents for that!

I hope that the islands of content, Comcast vs. Direct TV, can be bridged so viewers will be able to purchase whatever they want.

I'm also looking forward to the time when TV viewers will be able to access creative content from individuals. We're starting to see it on Akimbo with their recent roll out of their programming, which incudes my videos, to Windows Media Center PC.

Exciting times.
