Image: Wirecast 4.1 Desktop Presenter Streaming G+ Hangout
Today I did a test with Telestream Wirecast 4.1 to live stream a Google+ video hangout to Ustream.
I used Telestream's Desktop Presenter to capture the video and audio of the G+ Hangout, and stream it to Ustream.
The setup, using a complimentary copy of Wirecast 4.1, allows me to switch between streaming the desktop capture of the G+ Hangout, to choosing another local camera.
The quality looked great, and I was on a WiFi connection, not wired.
I had to put on a set of headphones because I got a lot of audio feedback when a started streaming the G+ Hangout.
