What can I do to engage a culture of making things? at I Make Things:

"The question I brought to SXSW this year is “What can I do to engage a culture of making things?” There are a few things that make sense so far. They seem obvious and simple, but these principles lead to interesting ideas!

-Give them something they want and can use. Flickr is my hero.
-Interact with them. Workbookproject rocked my world!
-Include them. JPGMAG rules at this.
-Make it fun. - My photogamer project is starting and is super fun!
-Include elements of a game. Ze is a master of this!"
