Rich Media is Hard To Find

Walt Crawford wrote Rich Media is Hard.
A search for vlog in Yahoo! Video yields a few thousand entries. But are people willing to watch amateur talking faces for very long? I suspect not. I'll guess the continuing audience for amateur vlogs (excluding amateur porn) is another order of magnitude smaller than for podcasts, partly because it's just plain harder to do a satisfactory video.
Dave Winer says:
"Amateur is not below professional. It's just another way of doing [media]. The root of the word amateur is love, and someone who does something for love is an amateur.
The problem is that a quick search on Yahoo! video doesn't bring up any kind of search result based on a trusted source.

Over on Vlog Soup, I'm filtering videoblogs for you. These are videoblogs that I either like or find interesting.

Others are acting as Human Filters too.

If you're in a hurry, check out some of my favorite videoblogs.
