They Got My Partial Attention
Klout devised an excellent promotion to get me to sample the new TV show, Lone Star. They sent along a nice kit that included plastic beer mugs, wine glasses, cooler, popcorn, wine opener, keychain, T-Shirt, posters and a CD of the TV show.
It prompted me to have friends over for dinner and watch a bit of the show.
That in itself is a success.

As my friend Greg Verdino says, every audience has an audience, My guest Ravi tweeted this after our Lone Star party:
Thanks @stevegarfield for #LoneStar T-shirt. Yes, I can say, "I watched 5 minutes of Lone Star and all I got was this lousy T-shirt"!
My friend Rachel Levy wrote about her experience too: Fox Got it Right with the Lone Star Premiere Promotion.
