Back in the day, I was talking to Brian Kiley at the 'Catch A Rising Star' holiday party. He mentioned that his New Year's Resolution was to write 5 new jokes a day.

For some reason, that stuck in my head and in July of the following year, I thought I'd give him a hard time. 'So, how's the 5 new jokes a day, thing working out?'

Brian didn't realize I was giving him a hard time...'Pretty good! At first, I'd only get one or two decent jokes each week. But now three out of ten aren't embarrassing, and a few work their way into the act.'

The next fall, he got hired by a new tv show called, 'Late Night with Conan O'Brien'.
