I've got a lot to think about after attending the MIT Enterprise Forum Brave New Web event in Boston yesterday.
Every day the Video on the Web landscape changes.
Jeremy Allaire from Brightcove showed a really sweet interface that looks like a TV.
VBS.TV
I was reminded of SuperDeluxe by Laurie Dean Baird of Turner Broadcasting. SuperDeluxe is entertaining. I just watched Little Michael Jackson and Me by Dave Hill. Funny. That's Jose wearing a SuperDeluxe winter hat. It was really fun spending time with Jose too.
I spent some time with Douglas Zingale and Juliette Powell. Great conversation touching on a lot of topics.
John Furrier of PodTech.net has a lot of interesting projects going on.
Things to think about when looking at these new video site:
- Where is the content coming from? Is it original?
- Can you link to it from a blog? Can you embed it on your own blog?
- Can you subscribe via RSS?
- Can you comment?
- What's the online viewing experience like?
Let me know what you think?
