A Few Great #SXSW Brand Impressions: Oreo, Kefir, Gannett, Beam, #VegasTech and YEAH!
When you've got 28,000 social media people and enclosed space, it's a great opportunity to get your name out in front of them. Here are some of the 'brands' that made a good impression on me.

Oreo had a whole game show Photo Booth thing going on where you could get some free cookies, which were cool, and you could win something if you got the trivia are right. I won. I got a $25 gift certificate to a local barbecue place, which I was not in a be able to get to, so at the end of the night at the American airlines event, I gave the gift certificate to a local bartender. She was pretty happy.
On the Oreo gift bag, the design really jumped out at me. Normally it's black on black when you're looking at the cookie, and this was really interesting.

Next up is Kefir. the giving these frozen products out on the street, and I really liked it. Every year at SXSW this on product at the given out for free, and up becoming a customer. This, I think, is the one for 2013.

The tradeshow floor this year was uninspiring, except for a handful of booths. Beam had a pretty good demo, and the remote person, shown here, was really fun.

Yeah! is a new online site that let you watch movies and includes all kinds of information about how the movie was created with lots of extra content that runs along while you watch the movie.
