iTunes 4.8

The new iTunes 4.8 supports Quicktime video.

Did iTunes always play QuickTime video from iTunes Music Store on a Mac?

You can't watch a QuickTime video that's on your disk, but you can listen to the audio.

To see the video, you have to "Show or hide song artwork" button.

Then when it starts playing, you can click it and it'll open up a little player window with playback controls.

I'd like to see the iTunes music store allow us to send up an RSS 2.0 feed with enclosures that would then allow people to watch our videos through iTunes.
