These old photos posted by Mad Max on Your Photos at The Boston Globe's Boston.com caught my eye. I went over to take a look and saw an issue with the Boston.com Your Photos page.
Unlike Flickr, where they say "What's Yours is Yours", Boston.com makes your photos their property:
"By submitting your photo(s) to Boston.com, you agree that such photo(s) and the accompanying information will become the property of Boston.com and you grant Boston.com, The Boston Globe, Boston Metro and their sublicensees permission to publicly display, reproduce and use the photographs in any form or media for any and (all editorial and related promotional purposes) purposes..Not cool.
I've already contacted them about this when Your Photos launched but never heard back.
Oh, and a few more things. I don't see any way to contact Mad Max, leave a comment, or easily post a link to these photos.
