Two for $5, One for $2.50 unless noted

Bruce Mohl explains Massachusetts single item pricing laws in today's Boston Globe, Hess Changing Ads:
"State law allows a store to charge full price if a customer wants just one pack instead of two, but the store must disclose that up front in its advertising. If the single-item pricing is not disclosed, a store selling two 12-packs for $5 must charge $2.50 for one."
I'm glad Bruce wrote about this today.

I've blogged about this before and am excited to head over to Roche Bros and buy one of everything.
