CVS Sale? Not.

Eucerin, originally uploaded by stevegarfield. CC BY-NC-SA

I saw this Eucerin on sale at CVS the other day. But was it really on sale? No. It isn't. See?

CVS Sale? Not.
Regular price: $12.49

Highlighted price on the yellow SALE tag: $12.49

Note: The $5 off listed is for a totally different product.

Not a sale, not a discounted price, a rebate.

They suck. I stopped going to CVS when they pulled that crap on me but they had listed the net rebate price on the tag. bastards.

File this under just how stupid are they to think I won't be annoyed by their trick?

  3. I'm working with the Cure CVS campaign. More info at www.curecvsnow.org The Boston Globe has described CVS as "by far the most penalized of any retailer" in Massachusetts when it comes to fines for overcharging customers and other pricing violations. Email me at deanne.dworski-riggs@changetowin.org to tell me about your experience with CVS.
