How to Clear A Club in 5 Minutes

Have a DJ start playing very loud music in a club where everyone is having a great time talking to each other.

Go up to the DJ to request that she turn down the music.

DJ ignores you for what seems like 5 minutes while rocking the beats.

Me: Can you turn down the music, we can't hear ourselves talk.

DJ: I was supposed to go on at 9:00

More information please. Were you up or downstairs? What time of day? What night of the week was it? The Good Life often has organized music nights with visiting or international DJs performing. People come to these nights to watch and experience music. In these cases, it would be pretty unreasonable to ask a visiting musician to turn down their music so that you and your friends can hear each other talk. Maybe there is more to your post than I'm seeing at first glance...

Anonymous is right, the DJs are often there to perform, not just provide background noise. If I don't like the DJ on a particlular night, I just go someplace else.

  3. The DJ was more interested in matching beats than talking to the person standing in front of her. It was Thursday April 16th at 10:15 PM.

I get a acknowledged more quickly from companies on twitter.

I actually liked the music but don't understand why they have to turn up the volume so loud.
